good knits

I've been wanting to do this for a while now and I'm finally able to make it happen. I've opened my online shop with a limited selection of knits that will be available for sale with the proceeds going to local area charities. Giving back to my community is important to me and supporting charities that help children, especially girls, is very close to my heart.

The Good Knits section of my shop will focus on small batches of hand knits that my family and I love, designed from patterns that I have created or using patterns that have been made available with permission from other indie designers. They are ready-to-ship and will remain for sale as long as I have them in stock. They will not be available for custom order.

I'm excited to be kicking off the first batch with a small selection of hand knit coffee cup cozies that are  ready-to-gift in time for the holidays. The Giving coffee cup sleeve is hand knit with a wool-blend yarn and is the perfect eco-friendly gift for the coffee or tea drinker on your holiday list.

With each purchase, I will be donating 100% of the proceeds from Good Knits to a local charity in 2018. This year, I've chosen Ready, Set, Play - an organization that helps underprivileged children in Toronto participate in recreational programs.

I'll be adding more knits for sale in the Good Knits section throughout the new year. I hope you'll join me in this journey to bring a little bit of good to our community.

Much love, friends.
